Therapeutic Support

We provide therapeutic support services to help improve your independence and enable your participation in daily and practical activities. This Group includes, provision of Therapists, Allied health services, counselling, and other community engagement supports to empower participants and to improve interactions with their social networks.

Our Physiotherapists perform relevant assessments and implements techniques, strategies, and recommendations to support muscle, joint and tendon pain, postural issues, nervous system conditions, whether developmental or acquired in nature. We provide these services across the age spectrum. Home visitations as well as clinic assessments are provided respecting clients’ preferences. Our physiotherapists also provide relevant reports and assessment documents for NDIA, other practitioners, carers, guardians, and stakeholders.

Treatment may include an array of techniques including:

  • Self-management education
  • Joint mobilisation
  • Soft tissue massage
  • Acupuncture / dry needling
  • Stretches, strengthening, and stabilising exercises
  • Taping for support / bracing
  • Biomechanical assessment and correction
  • Progressive exercise program

Our Occupational Therapists will assist to develop and maintain your functional skills to improve your participation and independence.
Our social worker will always be there to support and help you navigate your difficult circumstances and work closely with participants to build their capacity to control their life, feelings, and emotions.
